Questions

  • How does the Design Partner plan work?

You get a private Slack channel and add requests there. We work through them one at a time, across product, brand, web, and development, for a flat $4,999 a month.

  • What counts as a request?

A single piece of work, like a landing page, a feature flow, or a set of brand assets. Larger pieces are split into smaller requests and delivered in order.

  • Why one request at a time?

Focusing on one thing means each request gets our full attention and ships faster. Add as many as you like; we’ll take the next one as soon as the current one is done.

  • How often will I get updates?

Every one to two working days, in your Slack channel. You’ll always know what we’re working on and what’s next.

  • How much does a one-time project cost?

Projects start at $7,999. After a short call we agree a fixed scope, price, and timeline, so there are no surprises once work starts.

  • How does billing work?

The Design Partner plan is billed monthly in advance. One-time projects are paid up front.

  • Do you offer a discount for YC startups?

Yes. Y Combinator companies get 10% off. Just mention your batch when you book a call.

  • Can I pause or cancel the Design Partner plan?

Yes, at any time. There’s no contract or minimum term, so you can pause when work is quiet and pick up again when you’re ready.

  • Do you offer refunds?

Payments are generally non-refundable once work has started. If something isn’t right, talk to us and we’ll sort it out case by case.

  • Who owns the work?

You do. Once a project is complete and paid in full, the final deliverables are yours.

  • Do you work with existing design teams?

Yes. We can work independently or embed with the team you already have.

  • How long does a project take?

A couple of weeks for focused work, several weeks for larger projects. We agree the timeline before starting.
